... Warning tones indicating a fault in the dishwasher.
If one or two repetitive warning tones can be heard after the start of
a programme, they are indicative of a fault in the dishwasher that
you can probably rectify yourself.
After rectification of the fault, press the button for the wash pro-
gramme that has been started and close the door of the dishwasher.
The wash programme continues.
If the same warning tone is heard again, please contact customer
service.
• If more than two repetitive warning tones can be heard after pro-
gramme start, please contact customer service. Customer service will
need to know the number of tones and which indicators on the con-
trol and display field are flashing.
Malfunction Possible Cause Solution
1 continuously repeated
warning tone can be heard,
the programme display is
flashing in the control and
display field, and the
^
control indicator is perma-
nently illuminated:
no water is running into the
dishwasher.
Tap is blocked or furred
with lime-scale.
Clean tap.
The filter (where present)
in the threaded hose fit-
ting at the water inlet
valve is blocked.
Clean the filter in the
threaded hose fitting.
The water inlet hose is not
correctly laid.
Check hose installation.
2 warning tones that are
continuously repeated can
be heard,
the programme display and
the
I indicator on the
control and display field are
flashing.
The siphon is blocked. Clean siphon.
The water drain hose is
not correctly laid.
Check hose installation.
3 warning tones that are
continuously repeated can
be heard and the
I and
L indicators on the con-
trol and display field are
flashing.
The leak prevention sys-
tem has been triggered.
Close the tap and contact
your local AEG Sevice
Force Centre.
