Program abort fault display EA0 / fault memory EA6 with program start

Cause: After program start a check is performed during the first 30 seconds whether the drum lid is

closed correctly or not.

Due to too big distances from the magnet (DSP) to the reed switch there is no influence of the

metal strip in the belt pulley. No impulses are passed on to the electronic. The electronic does

not detect a drum rotation and stops the program indicating fault EA0 and fault memory EA6.

Measure: 1.) In case of a service you have to install a new DSP no. 146822100/5 as first measure.

Furthermore, you have to check all plugs at the main electronic. Afterwards you must

perform a function test of the LED drum positioning by turning the drum manually to

position. With appliances without LED drum positioning you have to check the pass-

through directly at the plugs of the DSP. If the function test was not successful,

continue as described under point 2.

2.) 3 spacer washers, no. 899859118910/2 are laid under between tub and DSP. This has

a stronger effect on the metal segment by the magnet (DSP).

Disassemble belt pulley and DSP.

Assemble DSP at the top with one washer, at the bottom with two washers.

Possibly you have to abrade 6 injection points. These may grind at the DSP during the drum

rotation.
