If the container is shaken, the liquid can

suddenly boil over or spray violently. Risk

of burns!

• Prick food with "skin" or "peel", such as

potatoes, tomatoes, sausages, with a

fork several times before cooking so that

the food does not burst.

• Make sure that a minimum temperature

of 70°C is reached when cooking/heating

food. For this please refer to the power

and time data in the tables. Do not use

mercury or liquid thermometers to meas-

ure the temperature of the food.

• Food heated with microwaves gives off

heat to the cookware. Use oven gloves

or equivalent protection!

• Do not overcook the dishes by setting

the power and time too high. The food

can dry out, burn or catch in some pla-

ces.

• The inner side of the oven, the grill heat-

ing element and the accessories become

hot when the appliance operates. Handle

them carefully and use oven gloves or

equivalent protection. Risk of burns!

• Metal objects must be a minimum of 2

cm from the walls of the appliance and

the appliance door. If not, sparks can be

released and the appliance can be dam-

aged.

• If not told differently, do not use alumini-

um foil.

• Do not get anything caught between the

door and the door frame.

• Always keep the door seal, the door seal

surfaces and the inner side of the appli-

ance clean. Dirt in the appliance can

cause dangerous situations.

• Do not keep flammable materials in the

oven. These could catch fire when the

oven is activated.

• Always heat baby food in jars or bottles

with the lid or top off. After heating, stir or

shake well. Make sure that the tempera-

ture is not too high before you give the

baby food to the child.

DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE:

• To cook eggs in their shells and snails,

because they can burst. With fried eggs,

pierce the yolks first.

• To heat cooking oil (fondue, deep-frying)

or drinks with a high alcohol con-

tent.Spontaneous ignition! Risk of ex-

plosion!

• To heat tightly closed containers, e. g.

tins, bottles, screw-top jars.

• To dry animals, textiles, grain pillows and

gel cushions and other flammable materi-

als.Risk of fire!

• With cookware made of porcelain, ce-

ramic or earthenware that has small

holes, e. g. on handles or unglazed bot-

toms. Moisture going into the holes can

cause the cookware to crack when it is

heated.

CARE AND CLEANING

• Before maintenance, switch off the appli-

ance and disconnect the appliance from

the power supply.

• Before maintenance, make sure that the

appliance is cold. There is the risk of

burns. There is the risk that the glass

panels can break.

• Keep the appliance clean at all times. A

build-up of fats or other foodstuff can re-

sult in a fire.

• Regular cleaning prevents the surface

material from deteriorating.

• Use a deep baking tray for very moist

cakes to prevent that fruit juices cause

stains that can be permanent.

•For your personal safety and the safety of

your property, only clean the appliance

with water and a soap. Do not use flam-

mable products or products that can

cause corrosion.

• Do not clean the appliance with steam

cleaners, high-pressure cleaners, sharp

objects, abrasive cleaning agents, abra-

sive sponges and stain removers.

• If you use an oven spray, follow the in-

structions from the manufacturer.

• Do not clean the glass door with abrasive

cleaning agents or metal scraper. Heat

resistant surface of the inner glass can

break and shatter.

• When the door glass panels are dam-

aged they become weak and can break.

You must replace them. Contact the

service centre.

• Do not clean catalytic enamel (if applica-

ble).
